I have always been curious about this question!

Am I the body? Or the mind? Where does the awareness I originate?
I am fascinated by the human mind and that has naturally led me towards Artificial Intelligence.

I currently focus on understanding the Mind and consciousness. I strongly believe that understanding ourselves is an essential firststep in building truly intelligent systems.

I have the following questions, to which I am searching answers for?

Knowledge Representation

How do you explain "color" to the blind? Can they understand color?
If they do - understanding how the world is internally represented is crucial, to building knowledge representation systems which can reason soundly.

Can I build an NLP-KR system, which can read the online text and re-represent it in a form that can be easily ingested by humans?
Can we download "the knowledge" from an AI:NLP/KR system - as Trinity learns to fly a chopper in Matrix?

Machine Consciousness

Can computation lead to consciousness? Can machines be conscious at all?
